To help women and families with strained relations, and marital discord and to provide the warring factions of the family a platform to discuss their problems and to find solutions, this Legal Guidance & Family Counselling centre was launched by Sreema Mahila Samity.

Firstly survivors of domestic violence or families facing oppression directly reach out to us and register their written problem statement at Legal Guidance & Family Counselling Canter of SMS then our staff independently investigates to check the validity of the case and understand its gravity and officially ask both parties to discuss the problem for a solution and lastly counsel both parties to settle the issue amicably, otherwise guide the survivor or oppressed to move to court or police for further support. SMS has been providing information and legal counseling on legal provisions to those people who have no access to such resources and seek legal support.
