Case of Bina Sardar Bina Sardar was a marginalized woman some time ago - Socially marginalized as she belongs to the Schedule Tribes and economically marginalized as she belonged to the poorer section of the society residing in the village of Huda . Her family of five comprises of her ill husband, three children and herself. Her husband earns as daily wage labourer which made it difficult to make both ends meet. She took a loan from Sreema's Micro Finance Division, using the fund to buy a cycle and vegetables and sell it door to door. She has never looked back since then. Her outstanding loan is to the tune of 20 lakhs which she plans to repay by selling fresh vegetables and flowers. She takes care of her ill husband and has admitted her children in a reputed school in Duttapulia. Bina Sardar is no more confining herself to the gruesome existing circumstances; she is trying to dream bigger, to improve herself and her family's quality of life. Case of Restoration of Child
Mithun Ghosh is an autistic child of the age of 12 years who lived in a remote village Madhobpur, Nadia. One day he was found missing. Finding him wondering aimlessly the residents of Panditpur informed SMS CHILDLINE. The team member arrived and rescued the child. On prolonged interrogation and counseling the child's address was traced and subsequently he was handed over to his family.
Case of Child Lost
Family feuds often disturb a child's mental set up profusely and infuse insecurity in his mind. Prakash Mallick of Muzaffarpur, Bihar is a lad of 11tears. He had seen his father about to set fire to the house they lived in out of rage. This affected his tender mind and he fled from house. He happened to reach Dhabulia via Barauni and a good Samaritan reached him to Krishnanagar G.R.P.S who later informed Nadia CHILDLINE. The latter rescued the child with the help of Child Welfare Committee in Patna located and sent him back home.

Ripu Sardar Ripu Sardar under Ma Monosha Swanirvar dal lives in the tribal village of Murugacha in Nadia district. Husband was alcoholic and drug addict. Everyday poverty and misery led to severe physical abuse of Ripu in the hands of her addicted husband. After joining the group Ripu acquired a loan of Rs 1800 from SMS without keeping any savings. Ripu had set up a small grocery shop with money. Gradually the shop became popular and with increased sale her standard of living improved. Her husband's attitude changed as well. She was looked up with regard. Ripu has transformed from a helpless to a self-reliant empowered woman.

Ma Mohila Samity This is a story of a remarkable group of women of mandalpukur vilage in Nadia who have showed the courage and collective strength to change the face of destiny.
Poverty was regular feature for the women in the group. They took loans from SMS against savings and bought/lease 6/7 acres of land for cultivation. With the help, expertise and advices from the agricultural scientists of IIT, Kharagpur they started cultivation with organic manure and pesticides. The yield was fabulous and the economy was boosted. The families flourished as the women could push back limitation to make life limitless.
